Job Description

Develop and implement governance procedures to assess data management and quality maturity across various sectors.
Conduct data profiling and analysis of existing datasets to identify and categorize critical data elements and sensitive information.
Act as the system expert and primary user of Data Governance dashboard and Data Quality Tools such as Data360 for analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand, prioritize, and document business data definitions, data quality standards, governance requirements, processes, and technical needs.
Assist in compliance activities including data protection, privacy, and retention.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the field of data governance.

The Successful Applicant

Possessing 4 years+ of experience in the related field, demonstrating expertise in data governance tools such as Data360, and showcasing proficiency in programming languages like SQL.
Some familiarity with programming languages (e.g., SQL), data visualization tools, and ETL tools (e.g., SSIS) is beneficial.
Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and methodologies, including data quality, metadata management, and data lineage.
Ability to share knowledge effectively and demonstrate excellent teamwork.
Exhibit a high level of personal accountability and the capacity to work independently within agreed-upon deadlines.
Knowledge of Financial Services and Life Insurance sectors is highly advantageous.
